About the workshop

We are a six-person joinery workshop on the edge of Kendal. Two of us started it, three came through apprenticeships here, and one wandered in to ask about a shelf and never left.

Most of our work is kitchens and staircases, with fitted furniture in between. We make everything in the workshop and fit it ourselves.

How a job runs

1. A visit and a conversation
2. Drawings, samples, a price
3. Making, usually six to ten weeks
4. Fitting by the person who made it
